Grease Sing-A-Long and Free Street Dance featuring Blair Carman

    6:30 pmTivoli Theatre

    Admission: $5.00 adults, $3.00 children 12 & under

The Tivoli is kicking off summer with this very special throwback event. First, join us for a screening of the 1978 classic Grease like you've never seen it before -- in a sing-a-long format! After the film we'll throw open the doors and keep singing and dancing as the rockabilly, piano-pounding sensation Blair Carman steps right out of the 1950s to entertain at a FREE street dance on Washington Street! Classic cars will be on display, and we'll be hosting a lookalike contest, so be sure to come in costume as your favorite Grease character.

Grease (1978): Good girl Sandy and greaser Danny fell in love over the summer. But when they unexpectedly discover they're now in the same high school, will they be able to rekindle their romance? Starring John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing. (Rated PG-13) *PLEASE NOTE EARLY FILM START TIME OF 6:30 P.M.*

Blair Carman: "The Best Thing That's Happened To Honky Tonk & Rockabilly Piano Playing Since Jerry Lee Lewis!" A phrase that's been used to describe the wild piano pounding Rock-N-Roll talent of this young man from Cincinnati, Ohio. Take the 1957 hands of Jerry Lee Lewis and the 1957 look of Elvis Presley and the raw energy of those two artists and what do you get? A piano pumpin', thumpin rockabilly kid named Blair Carman. From the honky tonkin' songs of Hank Williams, to the rock-n-rollin' hits of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley and Carl Perkins, a Blair Carman show is guaranteed to leave you wanting more.
